I want them to discover
the value of tundra cotton
swaying in the breeze
plump blue berries
and moose and salmon
spiders, furry yellow caterpillars
mosquitos and even no-see-ums
I want them to know
a crane call from a loon's cry
the difference between a
rainbow and a sundog
I want them to imagine
gold deposits beneath
their favorite park
an oil well under
their swimming pool
Cool, Don. BTW, I saw two Ravens turn upside-down in Tuluksak in February. I had never seen this before. Maybe, the lands of The Raven's Gift are the only place they do. ~ Sandy
